For this project, I was tasked with recreating an existing album so that it would create and emotional and engaged response through different design elements. After much deliberation, I decided to do "The Suburbs" by Arcade Fire. This album discusses the loss of childhood innocence due to violence and war, as well as how the suburbs do not protect our children as much as once thought. As a result, I utilized grunge design elements, photo collage, and an array of mark making to clearly depict this theme. Enjoy!
